How to Remove the Glass Digitizer from ASUS TF-101 Tablet without Breaking It

I use a hot knife to make the cutting easier.

Mark a line 3/8" (1.0 cm) from the knife tip.
This step is critical because you don't want to slice
the digitizer ribbon cables by cutting in too deep.

Disconnect digitizer cable #1.  Use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the black clip.

 Disconnect the digitizer cable #2.

Carefully cut under the digitizer glass no more than 3/8" (1 cm) deep.
Insert plastic cards to keep the adhesive from
sticking again.

The digitizer is removed.
I have avoided cutting the ribbon cables or breaking the glass.
A later test showed that the digitizer is still fully functional.
